Meet Col. Greg Raths, the leading conservative running for the 45th Congressional District, this Sunday, May 18, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at a campaign reception that will take place at 325 Cameo Shores Road, in Corona del Mar.
The event is hosted by Richard Bertea, USMC retired and Laura Dietz, Chair of OC Women for Col. Raths for the US Congress.

Col. Rath’s Biography:
As a long-time resident and homeowner in the city of Mission Viejo, Greg loves Orange County and California. He moved to the state in 1978 as a young First Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps, where he was assigned to the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing at the Marine Corps Air Station in El Toro. He is a decorated combat veteran of Desert Storm and went on to command a Marine F/A-18 Hornet squadron and Marine Aircraft Group. As a Colonel he served three years as Assistant Chief of Staff of the White House Military Office. He retired from active duty 2004.
After military service Greg flew as a commercial airline pilot, and later went into business as president of an automobile parts distribution firm.
Greg is married to his wife Luci, and they have three wonderful children Michael, and twin daughters, Kristen and Kathryn. Luci is a supervisor for student teachers at the University of California, Irvine, and their girls are both educators with the Irvine Unified School District. Greg’s son, Michael, served nine years in the United States Marine Corps as an F/A-18 Weapons Systems Officer, and earned the rank of Major. Michael currently resides in Austin, Texas, where he works for a Fortune 500 company.
