As Proposition 13 has come under attack at the local level by far-left, San Francisco-based activists, Villa Park city officials have passed a resolution officially affirming their support for Proposition 13!
Villa Park Councilwoman Deb Pauly shared the resolution, which has been posted on the HJTA website HJTA.org, with her fellow councilmembers and urged officials to take a public stand in support of taxpayers and our state’s economy.
You can pass a resolution in support of Proposition 13 in your own community by proposing adoption of the language posted here.
Proposition 13 remains as popular with the general public as the day it was passed in 1978. It’s time for communities to stand up to the anti-Prop. 13 activists, pro-tax politicians and government employee union bosses and let them know we don’t want to return to the bad old pre-Proposition 13 days when people lost their homes because they couldn’t afford to pay their taxes!
