ORANGE COUNTY CLERK-RECORDER HUGH NGUYEN FILES FOR JUNE 3RD PRIMARY ELECTION
Santa Ana (CA)—- Orange County Clerk-Recorder Hugh Nguyen announced today that he has formally filed for the June 3rd Primary Election..
“It is truly an honor and a privilege to serve the citizens of Orange County as their County Clerk-Recorder,” said Nguyen. “We have made great progress in our department, by reorganizing our management team and implementing new cost controls that save money. But we still have more work ahead of us and that is why I am running for election this June.”
Under Hugh Nguyen’s leadership the Orange County Clerk-Recorder started a monthly Saturday service at all three offices in Santa Ana, Laguna Hills and Fullerton. The program has been a tremendous success and provides services to people who cannot get to the offices during the work week. They include marriage licenses, civil marriage ceremonies, providing copies of birth certificates, death certificates and marriage license records.
Hugh Nguyen’s growing list of endorsements include: Sheriff Sandra Hutchens, District Attorney Tony Rackauckas, Supervisor Pat Bates, Supervisor Janet Nguyen, Supervisor Todd Spitzer, Supervisor Shawn Nelson, Congressman John Campbell, Congressman Ed Royce, Assemblyman Don Wagner, The Lincoln Club of Orange County, Atlas PAC and scores of local elected officials.
Hugh Nguyen currently serves as the Orange County Clerk-Recorder. He is a 35 year resident of Santa Ana where he lives with his wife and their two children. The election is June 3rd, 2014.
