Sacramento – Downey Mayor Mario Guerra today announced the unanimous endorsement of the State Senate and Assembly Republican Caucuses in his run for State Senate District 32.
“I am proud to have the endorsement of the entire Senate and Assembly Republican Caucuses, and I can’t wait to get to Sacramento and continue my work in support of California families,” Mayor Guerra said.
Assembly Republican Leader Connie Conway said, “I’m proud to endorse Mario Guerra for Senate. He has a proven local track record of creating jobs. Mario has what it takes to lead California forward. He has my full support.”
Republican Senate Leader Bob Huff said, “Mario is a proven leader and as Mayor of Downey has helped create jobs and made the city safer for residents. I am confident he will bring this same leadership to Sacramento. He has my full support. ”
These endorsements are the latest in a growing wave of support for Mario Guerra, whose record of growing jobs, increasing economic efficiency, and protecting his community have gained him distinction as a champion for taxpayers and families. Guerra has obtained over 100 endorsements from local city officials including several unanimous endorsements from school boards and city councils within State Senate District 32.
