Former Assemblyman Brings Strong Record of Fighting for Taxpayers
“California requires a new paradigm shift to fix age old problems. I know I can provide those solutions. I don’t want to get elected or sit in office doing things the same old way,” added Tran. “I’m looking to bring that entrepreneurial, can-do perspective to the BOE. Fighting for California taxpayers and being a voice for small business will be my first priority.”
Since leaving the Legislature in 2010, Tran has returned to private legal practice and business consulting in Orange County. Along with his wife, Cindy, the Trans have two young children, Alex (6 yrs.) and Sophie (5yrs.).
The BOE’s 4th District encompasses a large portion of Southern California, including all or most of the counties of Orange, Riverside, San Diego, San Bernardino, and Imperial, comprising of nearly 10 million residents.
