Phillip Chen Kicks Off Campaign For State Assembly
Rowland Heights, CA – – Republican candidate for State Assembly, Phillip Chen officially kicked off his campaign for the 55th Assembly District today. “Today I am excited to officially announce that I am entering the campaign for the 55th Assembly District. As your representative in the State Assembly, I am ready to make the tough decisions needed to make our government leaner, more efficient and responsive, taxpayers deserve better. Taxpayers are not an ATM machine for government and they have struggled enough. That’s why I am proud to announce that I am the only candidate in this race to have signed the no tax pledge,” said Chen.
Phillip Chen is a small business owner, USC Professor, a top advisor on health care issues to Supervisor Mike Antonovich and a reserve Deputy Sheriff for the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department giving him the background to address the communities urgent needs.
In his remarks Chen cited his first hand knowledge of the important issues that will make him uniquely qualified for the State Assembly,
“Dealing with public safety, education, small business growth and healthcare issues are not just rhetoric for me. I’m ready to go to Sacramento and buck the special interest groups that have so much influence over our government leaders and deal with these issues from experience. I am the only candidate in this race with firsthand knowledge of these issue through my everyday life. I won’t be a part of the crowd that is about talking, I’m about results.”
