Los Alamitos Council Members Mejia and Kusumoto Endorse Travis Allen
Fountain Valley, CA – The Travis Allen for Assembly campaign held a press conference to announce endorsements from Los Alamitos Council Members Gerri Mejia and Warren Kusumoto. After receiving the endorsement of his former opponents in the race last week, these endorsements show the continued momentum of the Travis Allen campaign.
The news of momentum for Travis Allen comes at the same time allegations surfaced that Troy Edgar had funneled illegal corporate donations to one of his political campaigns.
“Over the past six years, the leadership in my city has been contentious and rife with petty and disrespectful politics, where consensus and compromise were nonexistent. And unfortunately, it continues to be this way, where minority viewpoints are belittled and dismissed by the majority of three, led by Troy Edgar,” commented Councilman Kusumoto.
“We need actions, we need ideas, and we need solutions to bring back the gold to our Golden State. Travis Allen has the honesty and integrity to seek solutions to the challenges we must face together as Californians,” continued Councilman Kusumoto.
Councilwoman Mejia added, “Travis has shown that he can bring people together and is willing to listen to different points of view. He treats everyone fairly and tries to find where they have common ground.”
Mejia finished, “It is with great confidence that I can tell you, Travis Allen will be an effective representative for our community, in Sacramento.”
“I am both honored and humbled to have received the endorsements of Councilman Kusumoto and Councilwoman Mejia” said Travis Allen. “Both have dedicated themselves to public service and bettering their community. They have given their time and resources and withstood withering attacks for having done the right thing. Their resilience and strong character is an inspiration for us all,” ended Travis Allen.
Travis Allen is a Certified Financial Planner and the owner of the Orange County-based Wealth Strategies Group. Travis has lived in Huntington Beach for the past two decades.

How significant is this? Two of Los Al’s five member Council won’t support their own Mayor for his Assembly run. That’s quite a sacrifice to keep Troy Edgar in town and scheming to raise taxes and cheat on his Federal campaign reporting: http://www.ocweekly.com/2012-09-27/news/moxley-confidential-troy-edgar-los-alamitos/.
Mejia and Kusumoto are the worst two Council people in Los Alamitos. Such a fine endorsement.
Let’s vote them out, They can’t support out own!
