HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA – Today’s revelations, as printed in the OC Weekly, that Troy Edgar has illegally hidden what money he has been spending on his political campaigns is equally disturbing and disappointing. The voters of the 72nd Assembly District deserve a candidate that will run a clean and fair campaign. We do not need to send another dishonest politician to Sacramento.
“Troy Edgar should take responsibility for flagrantly and repeatedly having broken federal campaign finance, and possibly federal tax laws. The voters of the 72nd District deserve and expect the truth,” said Travis Allen.
“I have run a clean campaign and have pledged to conduct my campaign to the utmost ethical standards. I will continue to run my campaign to the high standards voters deserve,” continued Travis Allen.
The voters of the 72nd District Deserve to know the truth. If Troy Edgar will not take responsibility for breaking the law, the media and the proper authorities should investigate. The voters deserve to be provided with the truth about Troy Edgar’s campaign funding.
