The Orange County Freedom Forum is hosting Rich Lowry, editor of the National Review, the premiere conservative news site and magazine, on September 20, 2012, from 11:30 am to 1:15 pm, at the Irvine Marriott, located at 18000 Von Karman Ave., in Irvine.
Lowry is a former research assistant for Charles Krauthammer and local newspaper reporter. He joined the National Review in 1992. He became NR’s Articles Editor before moving to Washington in the summer of 1994 to cover Congress. He was named editor of National Review in 1997. He has written for the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, and a variety of other publications. He is a syndicated columnist and a commentator for the Fox News Channel. His book, Legacy: Paying the Price for the Clinton Years, was a New York Times bestseller. He lives in New York City.
