There are two seats open on the Irvine City Council this November – and there are now six declared candidates, including:
- Republican Evan Chemers, a business owner who says he will vote against all tax increases. His slogan is “Lower Taxes. Smaller Government. No Wasteful Spending.” You can check out his campaign Facebook page here.
- Former Council Member Christina Shea, a Republican. She appears to be a government relations and real estate consultant. She is a member of Irvine’s Planning Commission.
- Lynn Schott, a Republican who just missed getting elected two years ago. This time she is teaming up with her fellow Republicans Shea and mayoral candidate Steven Choi. Her slogan is “Principled Leadership, Committed Service, and Reliable Neighbor.” Schott is also on the city’s Community Services Commission.
- Gavin Huntley-Fenner – a supposed independent who appears to be an undercover Agranista. He currently is a school board member. Check out his website here.
- Beth Krom – one of two Agranistas on the ballot. Together with her fellow Democrat, Larry Agran, she has ruled over the City of Irvine with an iron fist. You can always count on Krom to hide the truth and to spend public resources frivolously. Krom is running on a slate with Agran and P.K. Wong.
- P.K. Wong – Also an Agranista. Wong is an Irvine Finance Commissioner who appears to be involved with the Irvine Evergreen Chinese Senior Association, a non-profit that looks after the needs of Chinese seniors only. “Wong is the chair of Irvine Senior Citizens Council, co-chair of the Support Our Schools initiative and is on the city’s Finance Commission,” according to the O.C. Register.
- Evan Chemers – conservative whether you like it or not!
Six candidates for two seats poses bad odds for most of these candidates. Shea has the highest name I.D. but the Agranistas hate her and she will be attacked more than any other candidate.
Schott should do well but Chemers, a newcomer to Irvine politics, is doing a better job of standing for conservative issues. However Schott has a clear advantage in name I.D.
Krom and Wong are the candidates that must be stopped. They are the Agranista slate.
There are by the way three candidates for Mayor of Irvine, including Agran and his biggest critic, Steven Choi, and small business owner Katherine Daigle. She was running for the City Council but she switched this week to the Mayor’s race. She was recently exposed as a plant recruited by Agran, by the OC Weekly. Agran convinced Daigle to run for Mayor so as to split the GOP vote and thus defeat Choi.
However, Irvine voters are now fully aware of the shell game that that Agran and Krom have been playing, and when the Great Park’s bills come due the voters will know who to blame.
Wong is racist Chinese .
He would chop off a white mans hand to protect his Sino breathren. This guy is PURE EVIL.
